Propinsi Daerah Kalimantan Tengah memiliki banyak daya tarik wisata alam salah satunya ada di Desa Keraya Kec. Kumai, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat yaitu Pantai Keraya. Namun masih banyak wistawan yang belum mengetahui adanya Pantai Keraya, oleh karena itu

perlu adanya penjelasan kepada khalayak umum mengenai Pantai Keraya.  Pantai Keraya adalah pantai yang indah dan mempesona. Pantai Keraya juga merupakan sebuah kawasan wisata yang sempurna untuk menikmati matahari tenggelam (sunset) yang sangat indah bersama keluarga atau orang-orang terdekat.  Hamparan ombak yang menerjang pasir-pasir putih di bibir pantai serta riyuhan angin laut yang menuju ke arah pantai dan membuat dahan pohon kelapa melambai-lambai hingga terdengar semilir angin yang mengenai dahan pohon kelapa membuat pantai itu terasa sangat indah dan segar.

Pantai Keraya ini benar-benar masih sangat terjaga keindahannya. Karena pantai ini belum terlalu banyak yang mengunjungi serta di sekitar pantai ini belum terdapat penjual-penjual yang menawarkan dagangannya. Jadi, bagi keluarga atau kerabat yang ingin mengunjungi pantai ini harap membawa makanan dari rumah agar tidak repot jika merasa lapar di pantai Keraya ini.

Namun, sekarang telah di buka Restoran yang menawarkan beberapa makanan khas laut bagi para pengunjung yang ingin wisata kuliner di sekitar Keraya.   Komplek yang merupakan salah satu dari Pantai Keraya adalah air terjun

Air terjun ini tidak jauh dari lokasi pantai Keraya, untuk dapat menuju ke air terjun dari bibir pantai Keraya kita hanya perlu berjalan 1OO meter menuju ke tangga untuk dapat naik ke area air terjun.     Untuk dapat menuju ke air terjun, kita harus melewati beberapa anak tangga yang telah di buat oleh salah satu program kampus agar kita dapat lebih mudah menuju ke air terjun.

Setelah melewati beberapa anak tangga , kita masih harus melewati beberapa meter jalan menuju ke air terjun. Di sekitar perjalanan, tertera larangan bagi para pengunjung agar tidak membuang sampah sembarangan, hal ini bertujuan untuk tetap menjaga kebersihan dan keindahan di sekitar air terjun.

Suasana asri masih terasa keita ketika kita berjalan menuju ke area air terjun. Ini karena adanya pohon-pohon yang mejulang tinggi serta semak belukar yang berada di sekitar jalan meuju ke air terjun. Di tambah lagi dengan suara burung dan jangkrik yang saling bersahutan. Kawasan pantai Keraya terletak di Desa Keraya Kec. Kumai, Kab. Kotawaringin Barat. Untuk dapat mencapai ke lokasi di perlukan waktu sekitar 2 jam dari Pangkalan Bun menuju Keraya. Perjalanan menuju Keraya tidak selamanya mulus. Kita harus melewati jalanan pasir yang masih belum di bangun oleh pemerintah.

Saat musim hujan, jalanan pasir itu akan sedikit becek dan bagi para pengunjung harap hati-hati melewati jalan ini. Selama perjalanan kita akan di suguhkan pemandangan yang luar biasa mendekati desa Keraya. Kita bisa melihat bukit-bukit yang tinggi dan hijau serta kita dapat melihat laut yang berdekatan di antara bukit.  Selain itu, sebelum sampai di Keraya kita akan melewati jembatan panjang yang di samping kiri kanannya terdapat sungai panjang serta berkelok-kelok atau kerab di sebut warga sekitar dengan sungai Jejer. Tak jarang para wisatawan banyak yang singgah di sungai ini meluangkan waktunya untuk memancing.

This waterfall is not far from the location of Keraya beach, to get to the waterfall from Keraya beach we only need to walk 1OO meters to the stairs to get to the waterfall area. To get to the waterfall, we have to pass some stairs that have been made by one of the campus program so that we can more easily go to the waterfall.

After passing several stairs, we still have to pass a few meters down the path to the waterfall. Around the journey, there is a ban for visitors not to litter, it aims to keep the cleanliness and beauty around the waterfall.

Beautiful atmosphere still feels keita when we walk to the waterfall area. This is because of the high trees and shrubs that surround the road meuju to the waterfall.
